Balesin Island (Toscana)

I was very lucky to be invited by my honeymooner friends (Congrats Jay and Gill!) to go with them to Balesin. You should be referred by a member when going to this island. Since this is a once in a lifetime chance for people like me I immediately said yes. Lol!

Why was I excited? Balesin Island is a seven themed villages inspired by world-class beach destinations namely: Balesin, Bali, St. Tropez, Toscana, Mykonos, Costa Del Sol, and Phuket. Imagine going to a place where each village will give you a different feel of the island. Eggzoited!

Our flight was scheduled at 930 am so we had to be there 30 minutes prior to the flight. Upon arrival at CAAP hangar, you can immediately feel how special you will be treated on the trip. Balesin has their own departure lounge and terminal. Free coffee, juice, bread were served. Perfect for breakfast! They also have free wifi.

We boarded the plane at exactly 930 am. The plane is so small you can see what the pilots are doing. Just a few minutes after take off, I could already see our target destination. Travel time to reach Balesin is exactly 21 minutes.

After the smooth landing, we were greeted by the staff, provided Garlands and welcome drinks upon arrival. We were also provided a brief background about the island at the Welcome Center area before heading to the Balesin clubhouse to check-in.

Mode of Transportation around Balesin

Toscana Room pictures:

Toscana Village has 2 adults pools (5 feet) and 1 kiddie pool (3 feet).

We were also in awe with its exterior and interior designs. It really seemed like we were in Italy. They have sofas were you could comfortably lounge and connect to their free WiFi at the ground floor. WiFi Username and password in all villages are the same.

Dining in Toscana

Dining Rates at Balesin would be surprisingly reasonable. One pasta dish in Toscana Trattoria would not exceed P300. They also serve free bread as appetizers. The taste was authentic and incomparable to other Italian dishes I have tasted. The four cheese pizza is a must try. We ordered 2 pizzas and 3 different pastas for only P2200. That's only P440 per head for 5 of us. We also had to takeout the extra slices of pizza which we didn't finish. Yes, you could request takeout in a 5 star place like this.
