Balesin Island (Costa Del Sol)

Costa del Sol, which literally translates to “Coast of the Sun,” would give you the feeling that you are in Spain.

The room we checked was their suite which can accommodate up to 8 people. This is a loft room which has a couch and 2 double beds on the first floor and 1 king bed on the second floor. The room has its own veranda which has a small dining set, daybed and a sofa set.

Costa del Sol has 2 large swimming pools that are situated beside each other. One is saltwater and the other is a freshwater pool. Surrounding both pools are sun loungers and parasols. They do not have a kiddie pool. Both pools are measured 5 ft.

Casa Grande is Costa del Sol’s signature dining facility. They offered to let us dine at their private dining room simply because the restaurant was full. There is no extra charge for staying at a private room. They serve free bread as appetizers. The meal was exquisite. Everything was so sumptuous and the lengua was so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Serving size was huge especially for the Paella. There were 6 of us eating but we were not able to finish eating half of the meal. We ate most of it for breakfast the next morning.

Costa Del Sol has its Alhambra lounge were you could relax while sipping wine and chatting with friends. The room is cozy and its interiors are Moroccan-inspired.
