Travel Tips:
  1. There is an old man waiting outside the airport with his jeep. He offers a ride to the city proper for P150. You could also ride a tricycle and it will cost P50 per head.
  2. Visit Vigan at night. You will appreciate and love the old feel of the place.
  3. Buy cornick at Vigan. The rates are cheaper and they have more availability compared to  Laoag.
  4. There are no public vehicles that goes straight from Vigan to Pagudpud. You should go back to Laoag and ride another bus to Pagudpud.
  5. You would pass by Paoay if you will be going to Laoag from Vigan. You could stop by Paoay- opt to visit Paoay church then ride another bus back to Laoag.
  6. Buy empanada from the old man who drives the jeepney at the airport. His store is just in front of the airport. You could order ahead of time and pick-up just before your flight home. Try the special empanada just for P30.
  7. Try the empanada at Pagudpud market. You would only see one stall. They open 3pm and also accept orders.
  8. Bring food for your Pagudpud North Tour. Food available at the blue lagoon are pricey.
